Drie maanden na de opmaak van de testamenten, zaterdag 28 december 1822, bevalt Catharina Rotteveen op achtentwintig jarige leeftijd van haar eerste kind. Nicolaas Lubek verklaart aan Mr Pieter de L Espaul, Burgermeester als ambtenaar van den Burgerlijken Staat van de gemeente Delft dat ‘zijne huisvrouw des avonds ten half acht uren is bevallen in derzelvs woning wijk 4 nr 291 van Een kind van het vrouwelijk geslacht hetwelk hij ons voorstelde verklarende aan hetzelve de namen Maria Theresia te geven. Het geboortehuis van Maria Theresia staat aan het Vrouwenregt op de hoek van de Nieuwe Langen Dijk. Nicolaas is nog steeds koetsier. Nicolaas Schilperoort, 60 jaar, portier en Willem Mul, 56 jaar, van beroep omroeper zijn de getuigen. De vader verklaart weer ‘niet te kunnen teekenen of schrijven.’ Maria Theresia wordt later de vrouw van Nicolas Gillon, de geweersmit.
