Voor adressen zie dochter Sophia Maria Martina. Na de Mercatorstraat 21'' meeverhuisd met dochter Wilhelmina Jacoba naar Fazantenweg te A'dam-Nrd. Daarna nog enige jaren in een particulier bejaardenhuis in A'dam aan de Van Eeghenlaan 34. Werkte bij de Hollandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij. Eerst te Rotterdam, later in Amsterdam. Theodorus (in de wandeling Dorus genaamd) was een zeer aimabel man, altijd opgewekt en in voor een grap. Dorus was tevens een dierenliefhebber. Hij schrok er niet van terug om bv. vanuit de haven, waar hij werkte, een aap mee naar huis te nemen. Hij heeft diverse honden gehad, waaronder als laatste een herdershond Panja. Ook hield hij b.v. tortelduiven in de keuken boven op de aanrechtkastjes. Was na overlijden opgebaard in het gebouw van de Coop. ver. u.a. "Uitv.verz." in de P.C. Hooftstraat 181-183. Begraving aan de Haarlemmerweg vond plaats om 14.00 uur.
