vroeger was het gebruikelijk dat men de naam van de boerderij overnam en aan de kinderen verder gaf.


vandaar dat er kinderen zijn die de achternaam aen ghen Riet (aen gen Rijt) dragen.


 


Lambertus overleed in 1636 vaarschijnlijk aan de Pest. Mechtildis trouwde dat jaar nog met Martinus aen gen Stap.


Martinus neemt ook de boerderij naam aen ghen Riet (Rijdt) over.
