De dierbare overledene werd geboren te Amerongen (Utrecht) 15 november 1886 en overleed te Brunssum op 4 januari 1969 in het St. Gregorius-ziekenhuis.
·ÄúZelden verbleef hier ·Äôn man die zo gemakkelijk en zo dankbaar was·Äù vertelde een verpleger.
Daarmee kenschetste hij onbewust het hele leven van deze dierbare overledene. Tot het laatst bleef hij erkentelijk voor alle grote en ook kleine attenties jegens hem, en nooit meende hij het recht te hebben kwaad op te treden of te klagen.
Steeds stond hij klaar voor zijn echtgenote en zijn kinderen ook voor hen die toch zover van hem vandaan woonden.
Als weinigen had hij de gave met iedereen zonder uitzondering bevriend te zijn en ieder die hem bezocht wist dat hem een prettig en gezellig uurtje te wachten stond. Zijn bedroefde echtgenote, kinderen, kleinkinderen en z·Äôn vele vrienden zullen hem missen.
Mogen zij allen hem dankbaar in hun gebeden gedenken.
De familie dankt U allen hartelijk voor de vele blijken van deelneming ondervonden bij het overlijden en de begrafenis.
De plechtige zeswekendienst zal plaats hebben op zondag 9 februari a.s. om 10 uur in de parochiekerk van de H. Clemens te Merkelbeek.
