Op heden den zevenentwintigste January agtien honderd en dertien zijn voor ons ..... van van het Canton van Arnhem, Departement van den Bovenijssel, gecompareerd:
1. Christiaan HARE,oud 60 jaaren, gebooren en wonende te Arnhem
2. Margareta PETERS, huisvrouw van Franciscus SNOEK, oud 52 jaar, geboren te Arnhem
Getuigen verklaaren dat bij hun zeer wel bekend is, Catharina ROUW, dat zij en haar zuster, en broeder, in het jaar 1700 vier, of vijf en negentig, zonder ouders, binnen deze stad zij gekoomen, dat deze kinderen ook in het Arme weeshuis zijn opgenoomen, en aldaar op gebragt, dat zij van Catharina ROUW, en zommige der andere kinderen, verscheide maalen hebben horen verhalen, dat hun vader in de campagne van 1794 aan de gevolgen van bevrorene beenen, bij zijn transport van de graaf na den bosch onderweg was gestorven, dat de moeder bij de belegering van de graaf, zoude zijn doodgestooken, of te wel aldaar haare natuurlijke dood, zoude zijn gestorven.
Waarvan wij dit .... hebben opgeaakt, hetgeen de comparanten met ons en onzer tweede suppleant, als Griffier fungeeren te hebben getekend.
