Allen, die hem in zijne betrekkingen en werkzamen kring hebben gekend, kunnen ons gemis en mijne onbepaalde droefheid beseffen; terwijl ik, ook zonder brieven van rouwbeklag, mij van de deelneming mijner en zijner Vrienden overtuigd houde.
