Free translation: 'on the 4th of may 1773, I - J.B. Froberger, priest in Bettendorf, baptised the
illegitimate child of Elisabeth Surgand, that is called Morand.
Godfather was the honorable Jean Werner, Godmother was Barbara Vogtersperger, both living in Bettendorf.'
