- Michel BRINGEL
- Wilhelm BISCHOFF

all from Galfingue.

'Valentin BRINGEL and his wife Eve STUDER gave birth to Vincent, Blaise and Joseph. Born around 1732, Vincent married Madeleine RIETSCH. Among their children was a son Jean, who married in 1789 in Galfingue with Catherine BISCHOFF. Blaise, citizen of the village, married succesive Marie Anne KUTTLER and Anne Marie WAILER. He was a farmer and had lots of children, of which 8 from his first marriage.
Joseph, the third child of Valentin, could write, which was very special in those days in the country. He was a weaver in Galfingue and married Barbe SCHIEFLLI in 1754, who gave him many children, among which a daughter Anne Marie. This girl married in 1782 in Hochstatt with Joseph SCHMERBER'
