Zutphen, den 1 Mei 1812. In den morgen van dezen dag werd ons Ouderlijk hart, in den weg van Gods Voorzienigheid, eene wonde toegebragt, welke niet door hoogere kracht zal kunnen genezen worden. Onze eenige Zoon, D.W. HOVELING, bezweek onder felle Koortsen in den jeugdigen ouderdom van 28 Jaren. God, die gaf en nam sterke ons onder ons onvergetelijk verlies! en gij Ouders die volwassene Kinderen door den dood verloren hebt, zullen met onze Bloedverwanten onze traanen billijken en in onze froefheid delen, zonder dat ons zulks door Rouwbrieven verzekerd wordt.
H. HOVELING.

Na eene allezins genoeglijke Echtverbintenis van 50 jaren en 12 dagen, behaagde het de Voorzienigheid, mijne geliefde Huisvrouw, GARDINA LANGENBERG, door een langzaam verval van krachten, in den gezegenden ouderdom van ruim 83 jaren, dit tijdelijke met het eeuwige te doen verwisselen. Langs deze gebruikelijken weg geve ik hiervan kennis aan Vrienden en Nabestaanden.

Heden overleed, in den ouderdom van ruim 76 jaren, de Heer HENDRIK HOVELING, in leven Oud Deurwaarder bij de Regtbank alhier.
