Meinders de beste, waarmee zij de naam Meinders op zwemgebied hoog hield. Zoo drukte zij op waardige wijze de voetstappen van haar oudere zuster Ineke, die naar men weet thans teBatavia het eene Indische record na het andere in de wacht sleept.
