Notes about Harold MATHES

Pauline and Harold made their home in Pella for a short time before moving to the home farm north of Pella. Harold, with the help of his wife, farmed the family’s Century Farm for his whole life. Harold loved his farm, and especially enjoyed his horses. He also liked to look for Indian arrowheads and attend auctions. Harold and Pauline adopted two children: Malissa at age 1 ½ and Jeffrey at age 8.
