Notes about Walter van HEEST

My grandparents, Walter and Helena Van Heest, lived in Corsica till their death in their 70's. I remember the City Cafe (where they served pop with the glasses upside down on top of the bottles), Up to Date Shoppe, and Reformed Church as well as the pool with the windmill from our visits. I was there in 1966 to celebrate my grandparents' 50th anniversary and now my dad, Roland Van Heest, and mom are celebrating their 50th this summer. My dad receives the Corsica Globe and visits occasionally--I think he would move back if Mom would move with him.
