Adrianus and Lena had eight children. The first child named Adrianus died in infancy. Their daughter Mina lived at the "Redfield Institution for the Insane, and died in 1918. She was living at home in 1905, but probably went to the Redfield facility after the death of her mother in 1908.
The death certificate states: Chief cause of death - Uremia; Contributory - Pregnancy; signed by Dr. E.J.Leichty who says he attended her from June 30, 1908 to August 8, 1908; Death at 10:30AM. Informant was James Menning from Armour.

Here is a notice from the Boyden reporter:
Boyden Reporter, Saturday, September 5, 1908: Word was received here Monday that Mrs. Ads. Kuyper had died at her home in South Dakota Sunday. The funeral was held Wednesday and was attended by Mr. & Mrs. D. J. De Hoogh and Mr.& Mrs. Aire Kuyper from here. She leaves a large family of children. This is certainly sad news for the many friends and relatives of the family here.
