Notes about Carl William ELLMANN

Carl Ellman and his wife Christina emigrated with their two living children in 1868. They traveled from Bremen, Germany to the Port of New York on the 25th of November 1868, and were headed for Wisconsin. There were two deaths and one birth on board ship. Emigration manifests have been lost for 1868, however the Immigration list is present at US port. Listed on the immigration list are "Carl Ellman age 42, Christine age 43, Rudolph age 19 and Wilhelmine, age 11. Planned destination was Wisconsin.
