Floris III (Haarlem, rond 1140 – Tyrus (Antiochië), 1 augustus 1190) was van 1157 tot 1190 graaf van Holland.
Hij was een zoon van graaf Dirk VI van Holland en Sophia van Rheineck. In 1157 volgde hij zijn vader op als graaf van Holland. Hij huwde op 28 september 1162 met Ada van Schotland, de zuster van de Schotse koning Malcolm IV. Samen kregen ze 10 kinderen, 5 zonen en 5 dochters:
Dirk, die zijn vader als Dirk VII zou opvolgen
Willem, die het graafschap van Ada, de dochter van Dirk VII zou afnemen
Hendrik
Floris, die bisschop van Glasgow werd
Boudewijn
Ada, die zou trouwen met Otto I van Brandenburg
Sophia
Margaretha, die later zou huwen met Diederik V van Kleef
Elisabeth, (jong gestorven)
Agnes, die abdis werd in Rijnsburg.
Floris III was een trouwe bondgenoot van de Duitse keizer Frederik Barbarossa. In 1158 en van 1176 tot 1178 stond hij de keizer persoonlijk terzijde bij diens strijd in Italië.
