Mary A (nee Krajewski) Kuyken,84 of Mt Laurel, NJ died Wed Feb 5, 2003 at Sunrise Assisted Living. Mrs Kuyken was born in Philadelphia, moved to Medford Lakes, NJ in 1950 and has lived the last 19 years in Mt Laurel. Mrs Kuyken worked 20 years as a Registered Nurse for the Medford Lakes Board of Education, retiring in 1978. Mrs. Kuyken received her RN degree from West Jersey Hospital in Camden and her School Nursing degree from Rutgers, also in Camden. She was a ember of the Medford Lakes Colony Club and Junior Women's Club, a member of School Nursing Assoc. of NJ. Mrs. Kuyken was a Nurse at St Josephs School in Medford and became the first Nurse at what is now St Mary of the Lakes School in Medford, NJ..
Surviving are two daughters Rita Marie Griffith and her husband William of Hilsboro Beach, FL and Mary Ann Jefferson of Mt Laurel; two sisters Veronica Nichols and Florence Korostynski both of Bellmawr, NJ. Also surviving are five grand and five great grandchildren..
Viewing will be held Sat, Feb 8 from 8:30-9:30am at the Mt Laurel Home for Funerals. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated following the viewing 10am at St John Neumann RC Church, Mt Laurel, interment at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
