Notes about Neeltie Maartens de Jong

Neeltje de Jong is op 11 december 1712 te Hillegersberg gedoopt als oudste dochter/kind van Maarten de Jong en Baartje Robbe.

Ze ontmoette de uit Hazerswoude afkomstige en 7 jaar oudere Jan Overrijnder en trouwde met hem in Hillegersberg op 23 oktober 1735. Ze kregen 11 kinderen.

Het is vreemd, dat gezien de vernoemingssystematiek de oudste twee niet vernoemd zijn naar hun oma's. Pas de derde dochter Baartie wordt vernoemd naar haar moeder's moeder. De volgende twee zonen worden weer wel vernoemd naar hun opa's.
Het valt niet te herleiden waar die eerste dochtersnamen Maria en Pieternella vandaan kwamen.

Ze overleefde haar man 2 jaar en werd op 4 december 1783 te Hillegersberg begraven op 70 jarige leeftijd.
