Eene allerzeldzaamste Operatie werd gisteren alhier aan de blinden Leendert Tempelaar , in het bijzijn van de Genees - en Heelkundigen dezer Buurtschap , volbracht.
Deze Ongelukkige , die reeds 27 jaren van het Gezigt beroofd was en aan wiens herstelling wel niemand meer dadacht , werd , op aan beveling van een Heelkundigen naar de Heer Dr. Mensert , Oogarts , te Amsterdam, verwezen , en heeft eene Kunstbewerking ondergaan , die door de voortreffelijke uitvoering dan ook den gewenschten uitslag belooft.
Het zij dan een ooggetuige die door een zoo ervaren Arts , op eene zoo eenvoudige wijze , zonder eenige de minste smart, zelfs met groote verblijding en dadelijke blijken van zien ,een ongelukkige zag redden en behouden , vergund , ter bemoedigingvan mogelijk vele andere Blinde Lijders , zulks algemeen bekend te maken.
