    Het zijn Essinch en Hesselinch, die beiden de vorig genoemde bouwers Azo en Hezel opgevolgd zijn. Het zijn de oudst bekend zijnde Hoven van Barlo. Nog in 1692 leefde er op dit Hof een 90 jaar oude Rudolf Essinch.

    In 1600 werden 10 Volerven berekend voor de afdracht, te weten Essinck, Ebbekinck, Bencken, Uffkinck, Huninck, Ubbinck, Gehsinck, Wenninck, Eickinck en Demming. Als Halferven werden berekend Nysinck, Kotte, Withage, Plückel, Elsinckhorst en Hesselinck. Dit is de eerste keer dat het Plückelshof genoemd wordt, waaruit ik de conclusie kan trekken dat de familie al veel ouder is en ver voor 1600 op dit landgoed woonde.
    In dit gebied gold in oude tijden het patroniem van inch of inck of ing achter een ouderlijke voornaam. Zo verkrijgt men dat Hüninck een afstammeling is van Huno, Ebbekinck van Ebbo, Edekinck (Eiting) van Ado, Ubbinck van Ubbo, Demminck van Demo (Dankmar), Nysinck van Niso, Gessinck van Geso (Gero), Weninck van Wino, Uffinck of Uffedinck van Uffiko (Ulfried), Essinck van Azo of Also, Hesselinck van Hazilo of Hezel. Zodat eigenlijk al de oude Hofnamen ontstaan zijn uit oude germaanse voornamen,
