From a Holland Newspaper
On July 25 (1929) it pleased the Lord to take out ofour midst after several weeks of suffering our beloved mother and grandmother,
JANNA BOEVE,
nee Eilander,
at the age of 78 years and 8 months.
We sadly miss her, but are greatly comforted that for her to livewas Christ, and therefore her death was gain.

After marriage, Egbert and Janna made their home in Wappenveld. They emigrated to America on the SS Pollux - April 29 1881, with their two year old daughter Egbertje and Janna's parents, Kornelis Eilander and Stevenje Bredewoud. They settled on a farm north of Holland which is now 136th avenue near to the farm of Mr. & Mrs. Roelof Plockmeyer. Mrs. Plockmeyer was Janna's sister.
