Kornelis Janssen, de man van Melisja Hannesse is inderdaad 15 november 1716 te Veenendaal geboren en was de zoon van Jan Aarts, geboren 20 april 1685 op de Mellum Veenendaal en Geurtje van Hardeveld, geboren 19 december 1680. Hij trouwde 15 april 1748 met Melisje Hannesse (Prins) van Overeem, geboren 12 september 1723, dochter van (Jo)Hannes Willems Prins en Geurtje Willems, geboren en gedoopt op 5 januari 1690. Hier is dus Melisje nog met de naam Overeem aangegeven en klaarblijkelijk (volgens het uittreksel) heeft Kornelis Janssen de naam Overeem van zijn vrouw aangenomen. Onbekend is het, waar ze de naam vandaan heeft.
