16-02-1936 t/m 25-11-1945 Predikant voor de Gereformeerde Kerk aan de A.E. Gorterweg 26 te Woldendorp. Timen heeft op zondag 05-10-1945 afscheid genomen van Woldendorp.
op 2 augustus 1945 op de gemeentevergadering van de gereformeerde kerk van Stadskanaal-Pekelderweg bij acclamatie beroepen. (het gebeurt bij algemene goedkeuring zonder dat erover iemand of iets gestemd wordt).
Hij komt eind december 1945. Hij was nog geen drie jaar predikant, toen vertrok hij naar Stadskanaal-Pekelderweg, van 30-05-1948 tot aan zijn emeritaat op 01-05-1961.Hij werd Predikant voor de Gereformeerde Kerk "Ontmoetingskerk" aan de Hoofdweg 149 te Zuidwolde (Dr.). Op nieuwjaarsmorgens 1948 is er een vergadering belegd met de kerkenraad en de man lidmaten waarin werd besloten om Ds. T Klein van Stadskanaal Pekelderweg bij acclamatie te benoemen. (het gebeurt bij algemene goedkeuring zonder dat erover iemand of iets gestemd wordt). Op zondag 30 mei 1948 heeft de bevestiging plaats gevonden.
Op zondag 30 april 1961 is Ds. Klein met eervol vervroegd emeritaat gegaan.
