Op 11 juli 1818 verkoopt Willem bij notaris Albert Sloos in de Zijpe een flink stuk Boschland voor 400 gulden aan Rens en Maartje Doorn. Het Boschland is gelegen aan de Ruigeweg in de Zijpe. In het archief in Alkmaar is op micro-fiche 77 folio 5 van het oudrechtelijk archief van Wieringerwaard meer over Willem Quax te vinden.
