Stadsapotheker in De Meermin; kerkmeester van de Grote Kerk te Alkmaar (1745-1776). Bij zijn 1e huwelijk was hij een jm van Alkmaar, wonende op De Mient. Hij maakte met zijn 1e vrouw een mutueel testament op 4 mrt 1740 voor notaris J. van Bodegom te Alkmaar.
