Mathäus Krämer war Amtmann des Tübinger Unteramtes ( Altenburg, Oferdingen, Rommelsbach, Sickenhausen und Degerschlacht mit Sitz in Altenburg, später ab den 17 JH war der Sitz in Oferdingen, wo 1738 ein Rathaus für das Unteramt gebaut wurde ) war eine angesehene Persönlichkeit, denn bei der Taufe seines Sohnes Mathäus ( im Altenburger und Oferdinger Taufbuch eigetragen ) sind als Paten einetragen: Herr Johan Jacob Bauer, Burgermeister zu Tübingen, Herr Lorenz Kienlin und Juliana, Herr Christian Wolf Gerichtsverwandten Hausfrau.
