Op zijn trouwdag 18-2-1914 is Petrus Kaizer gaan wonen in de Rustenburgerstraat 50. Op dit adres was reeds een slagerij gevestigd van Jacobus Adrianus Koops, die de slagerij heeft gerund tot 16-12-1913. Ongeveer drie maanden later heeft Petrus Kaizer de slagerij overgenomen en is op 3-3-1914 verder gegaan met deze slagerij tot 26-10-1921. Op die datum is hij met zijn gezin en slagerij verhuisd naar de Binnen Oranjestraat 10 te Amsterdam. Tot 7 mei 1925, toen is hij gestopt met zijn slagerij. Daarna ging Petrus Kaizer werken bij het abattoir. Dat moet geweest zijn in de periode mei 1925 tot medio 1930/1931. Omdat hij zijn 25-jarig jubileum heeft gevierd bij Peek&Cloppenburg, mogen we aannemen dat hij daar heeft gewerkt van 1930/1931 tot en met september 1956.
