Maritgen, huwde met Engel Cornelisz. van Brederode, verkocht op 18 juni 1589 land aan
zijn zwager Jonge Jacob Tijsz.21 en op 20 februari 1597 een boerderij aan zijn neef Cornelis
Gerrits (zoon van II-3).22 Hij woonde toen in Haagambacht aan de zuidzijde van het Haagse
Bos. Op 25 maart 1607 verkocht hij het achterste deel van de boerderij ‘Den Burch’ te
Warmond aan Gerrit Cornelisz. den Haen.23 Op 19 juni 1620 verkocht Dirck Joris van
Waelsdorp24 als man en voogd van Maritgen Engelsdr., enige en universele erfgenaam van
Engel Cornelisz. van Brederode (haar vader) het voorste deel van deze boerderij aan Jacob
Cornelisz. Slingerlant.25
