Michiel Tuourlant is eigen Miguel Turlan uit Aragon. Op 30 april 1543 gaf de stad Antwerpen een persoon met die naam een erf in de Hochstetterstraat in pacht (Stedelijk archief Antwerpen, verzameling van oorkoinden, volume I. blz. 33 J. Pauwels 1869). Als het dezelfde was dan moet hij toch een twintigtal jaren ouder zijn dan zijn vrouw. Dat verklaart wellicht waarom de meeste genealogen haar niet als een dochter van Franchois maar als zijn zus beschouwen.
