Sjuck van Burmania, overleden 29 mrt 1597 *, begraven Britsum ,grafschrift, zoon van Gemme van Burmania en Jel van Aylva.

Als Suffridus à Burmania in 1586 student te Erfurt.
Hij woonde op Jornsmastate te Britsum.
Op het graf van Sjuck en Cnier op elke hoek 2 paar wapenschilden,afgehakt, maar de namen zijn behouden.
Deze namen zijn Burmania-Aylva, Douma-Hottinga, Burmania-Zyarda en Martena-Hottinga.
De eerste beide paren slaan op hun ouders, de laatste paren vreemd genoeg op 4 van de 8 betovergrootouders van Cnier n.l.
Hessel van Martena x Both van Hottinga en Douwe van Burmania x Ath Sjaerda van Bonninga.
Sjuck was gehuwd met Cnier van Douma, ook Cunera, overleden 13 mei 1651, begraven Britsum ,grafschrift, dochter van Laes van Douma en Berber van Hottinga.
Haar naam en die van haar man op de kerkklok van Britsum uit 1664.
Zij testeerde te Britsum in 1650 (EEE I-454).
Uit dit huwelijk:
1 Idzert van Burmania, geboren 17 sep 1594,
2 Laes van Burmania, geboren ± 1596, overleden 1 feb 1608 *,oud 12 jaar, begraven Britsum 5 feb 1608 *,grafschrift.
3 Sjuck van Burmania, geboren Britsum 3 feb 1597,

GJ 2000: Syuck Burmania trouwde met Cunera van Douma, bij wie hij drie zonen verwekte. Hij stierf in 1597." Zij woonden op Jomsmastate te Britsum. Cunera
maakte in 1650 haar testament, waarbij zij haar kleinkinderen als erfgenamen aanwees. Van hun zonen vermeldt het Burmaniaboek: Idzaerd Burmania
trouwde met Susanna thoe Schwartzenberg,bh zij woonden op Herjuwsma te Ferwerd; Laes Burmania stierf als jongen in februari 1608; en Siuck Burmania
trouwdé met Catharina Entensbk en woonde op Martenastate te Cornjum.
