Notes about Joost Jans

NOTE: In aug. 1667 was mr. Joost Jansen, omstreeks 1638 geboren, hierschoolmeester. Hij kwam toen met Meynts Jansdr, zijn huisvrouw, metattestatie van Genum. Hij hertrouwde op 17 juli
1670 met Aaltie Jacobs. Zijn traktement bedroeg 50 gulden per jaar,waarbij dan natuurlijk
nog de schoolpenningen kwamen en vrij wonen. In mei 1718 stond hij debediening af aan
zijn zoon en is in elk geval vóór mei 1721 overleden.
