Met Kerstmis 1631 volgde Peter Vandenbroeck Hendrik Antonis op als huurder van het koningsvierde van de molen van Schriek. Na het overlijden van zijn vader op 17 maart 1632 huurde hij ook het andere vierde deelvan de molen.

In
1637 moest molenaar Peter Vandenbroeck een boete betalen van 12 groten brabants (48 gl) omdat "syne twee sonen (ie Jan en Adriaen) hadden bedreven groote moeijlijkheijt ende vechterye tot Keerbergen ten huyse van den molder aldaer".
