De zeven dochters van Kosters Sjraar en Blinjes Drika.
Toen Sjraar Pubben en Drika Peeters in 1935 trouwden, hadden ze zeker niet verwacht dat binnen acht jaar hun gezin compleet zou zijn en dat het bovendien alleen uit meisjes zou bestaan. Als hier opmerkingen over werden gemaakt zei moeder; "Och, de jönges komen vanzelf wel!" - en die voorspelling is zeker uitgekomen. Dat bewijzen de achttien kleinkinderen! De foto is in 1947 genomen door Piet van Maris, zoon van wethouder Jacob van Maris (Seusse Kobus). De kinderen zitten van klein naar groot op een bank voor het huis van Hendriks (Dreesse Hens) aan de Van Hövellstraat. Tot 1953 woonde het gezin Pubben aan de Veldstraat. Hun huis stond op de plek waar nu de bungalow met huisnummer 56 staat (destijds 'Dorp 36'). Van daaruit liep een paadje naar de 'Kromsjtraot', zoals de Van Hövellstraat toen werd genoemd, en kwam uit bij 'Hens'. Van de Veldstraat verhuisde het gezin Pubben naar het Rochusplein. Het betrok daar de woning van grootvader Sjang die op tweede kerstdag in 1952 was overleden. Men was toen al bijna klaar met een verbouwing, omdat het sowieso al de bedoeling was dat men daar zou gaan wonen. Voor de verhuizing werd de hele inboedel op een kar geladen en daar vertrok het gezin naar Dörp. Een en ander vond plaats vlak na de watersnoodramp. Toen Sjraar met paard en wagen op de Pool was aangekomen riep iemand: "Hej Sjraar, ès det allemaol vur 't rampenfonds?"
