Als oudste dochter had Fientje haar plichten in het huishouden, studeren was er niet bij. Ze heeft
wel als bejaardenverzorgster gewerkt in Goirle en bij de Breedonk in Breda. Ze heeft in Breda in
het Ginneken gewoond, in de burg. Buijsenstraa t en/of de Teijchinélaan in Breda. Ze woonde daar
bij haar vriend, de Poolse bevrijder en kunstenaar Eugène Horak.
Fientje is op een tragische manier aan haar eind gekomen: ze bleef met haar jas tussen de deuren
van een BBA-bus hangen en werd meegesleept.
