Op 3-12-1914 vertrekt hij naar Ambt-Doetinchem. Op 1-5-1918 komt hij weer thuis wonen vanuit Winterswijk. Het ouderlijk huis heeft dan nummer A228. Op 22-7-1920 komt Carl wonen op huis F19 in Harreveld bij het echtpaar Johannes Bernardus Penterman en Berendina Johanna Kock. als beroep vermeld landbouwarbeider. Hij komt dan van huis A228 (ouderlijk huis). Op 9-5-1922 verlaat hij F19 in Harreveld en gaat naar Boxmeer. Later kom ik hem in Lichtenvoorde niet meer tegen. BS
