Overleden bij auto-ongeluk bij Brummen. Dochter Alie met Jaap hadden de kersenboomgaard. Oma Hillie en opa hielpen daar en opa joeg vogels uit de boomgaard. Ik heb daar kersen verkocht in een stalletje aan de weg en gesorteerd aan de lopende band. De tweede zomer dat ik daar was, kreeg ik voor het eerst betaald door het loketje in de keuken!!! Eerstverdiende geld in een klein brin envelopje, heel trots was ik!

3 kinderen gekregen: Alie, meisje geboren en overleden en nog een zoon of dochter (niet openbaar).
