    Tjitske en Johantje gaan wonen in het buurtschapje Jongeburen aan de oever van het Sneekermeer, waar ze een grote boerderij met 159 pondematen land huren. Hoewel Jongeburen dichter bij Terhorne ligt behoort het bestuurlijk bij Goïngaryp en R. K. kerkelijk bij St.Nicolaasga. Er moet in ieder geval een zoon Klaas uit dit eerstehuwelijk zijn voortgekomen, maar zijn geboortedatum is niet precies bekend. Dit zal rond 1715/1716 zijn geweest, niet lang daarna overlijdt Johantje. Tjitske hertrouwt met Antje Willems uit Terhorne.
