Notes about Jacomina Bregtje Burger

een oudere zuster van mijn moeder (tante Mien Burger) was getrouwd met Derk Houwing die een detail-ijzerwinkel hadden op de Bergerweg in Alkmaar t.o.
de vroegere Ambachtsschool. Zij hadden een zoon Reurt die veel ouder was dan ik zelf. Ik kwam als kind dagelijks langs hun winkelwoonhuis als ik naar
de lagere schjool moest in de Snaarmanslaan. Tante Mien is nog vóór mijn moeder overleden door borstkanker in de 1e helft 50-er jaren. Mijn moeder is ook
door borstkanker met natte pleuritis overleden in 1954. Reurt was destijds scheepswerktuigkundige bij de mij. Nederland in A'dam en nam mij een keer mee
naar zijn schip. Ik heb ook een korte periode onderzoek naar mijn familienaam gedaan maar alleen de mannelijke lijn. Maar ik was wel benieuwd waar Reurt terecht was gekomen en of hij getrouwd was en kinderen had. Ik heb ook veel op GenealogieOnline gezocht, maar deze hobby vraagt erg veel tijd die ik er nu niet meer aan kan besteden omdat ik een ander leven heb nu. Maar u bent veel verder gekomen met dat aantal personen en een publicatie. Ik ben nu 77 jaar en ik heb dezelfde voornaam en achternaam als mijn vader en grootvader in de mannenlijn. .

Over genealogie Houwing kan ik nog toevoegen dat Reurt in de 50-er jaren gewoond moet hebben in West Friesland en voor zover ik weet enig kind was.
Zelf heb ik als puber na het overlijden van mijn moeder in 1954 geen contact meer gehad met de familie van mijn moeder. Mijn vader was daar tegen.
