    Henrietta Honcoop, age 65, of Lynden, died at her home on Sunday, Sept.5. Visitation hours will be from 1 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, atGillies Funeral Home in Lynden.
    Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 10:15 a.m.in Monumenta Cemetery followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in SecondChristian Reformed Church with Rev. Mark Davies officiating

    Henrietta Honcoop, age 65 of Lynden, died at her home on Sunday,September 5, following a short illness.
    The daughter of Everett and Henrietta (Stiteslaar) Veldhuizen, Henriettawas born in The Netherlands on June 8, 1939 and at age 8 moved to theLynden area with her family. She was a 1958 graduate of Lynden ChristianHigh School and was married to William Honcoop on June 16, 1959.
    A homemaker, Henrietta was a member of the Second Christian ReformedChurch where she sang in the choir for many years. She also enjoyedsewing and gardening.
    Preceded by her parents and sister Wilma Adema, she is survived at homeby her husband William; daughters Marlene Honcoop of Lynden and Luanneand husband David Moore of Bellingham; five grandchildren; sisters Gertand husband Cornie Huisman of Lynden, Jennie and husband Dick Bosch ofBellingham, Teena and husband Pete Groeneweg of Outlook, WA; brothersTony Veldhuizen and wife Marilyn of Ferndale, Everett Veldhuizen andwife Renee of Enumclaw and numerous other relatives.
    Memorials may be made to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation; 800 EastChestnut, Bellingham 98225.
