    Visitation for Adrie G. Cobb of Lynden will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Gillies Funeral Home. Burial will be at 12:15 p.m. Saturday in Monumenta Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at Second Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. Tom Haan officiating.

    Mrs. Cobb died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1995, at the Christian Rest Home in Lynden. She was 88.

    Born Dec. 14, 1906, to John and Lena Boers Vander Houwen, in the Netherlands, she moved to North Dakota in 1910 and then to Yakima, where she graduated from Moxee High School. She attended Whitman College before becoming a secretary.

    She married Virgil Cobb on Aug. 19, 1931, in Yakima, and they moved to Whatcom County in 1945. She was active in Second Reformed Church and Christian schools in Lynden. She also loved music.

    She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, a grandson in 1966, three brothers and one sister.

    Memorials may be made to the Lynden Christian School Music Dept., 515 Drayton Ave., Lynden, WA 98264.
