Zij waren met elkaar in contact gekomen door een advertentie in de krant. Opa Hoek had Mien Rond verteld dat hij vier kinderen had. Hij dacht dat Ria wel bij zijn zus Willy zou blijven. Maar Willy kwam Ria terug brengen toen hij met Mien was getrouwd. Zo had ze ineens vijf kinderen. Dit heb ik van Mies van Tol vernomen.
