'Mijn schild ende betrouwen'; Oranje-nieuws vóór en dóór blind Nederland was een verzetsblad uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, dat vanaf 1 november 1943 tot en met 5 mei 1945 in Utrecht werd uitgegeven. Het blad verscheen aanvankelijk 2 maal, later 4 maal per week in een oplage tussen de 5 en 20 exemplaren. Het werd in braille gemaakt en de inhoud bestond voornamelijk uit algemene artikelen en nieuwsberichten.

De BLINDENBODE was evenals vele andere legale tijdschriften door de bezetter verboden.
Om deze reden ging P.J. van der Burg, med. stud., over tot de uitgave van een blad in brailleschrift
dat behalve nieuws van de radio ook speciale onderwerpen voor blinden en bemoedigende
artikelen bevatte. Vóór Dolle Dinsdag werd het door geheel Nederland verspreid, na die tijd,
toen de verbindingen verbroken waren, voornamelijk in Utrecht en omgeving. Daar uiteraard
slechts een exemplaar tegelijk kon worden vervaardigd, was aan de uitgave een ontzaglijk werk
verbonden; dit werd geheel verricht door een blind meisje, Lida Hoejenbos.
