Notes about Oeds Girbes

Lippenhuizen
Het spoor van het ouderlijk gezin van Oeds is, dankzij het Lidmatenboek van Nijega (Smallingerland), te volgen. Vanaf zijn geboorte in 1754 tot zijn achtste jaar in 1762 woont hij in Lippenhuizen. Van 1762 tot 1789 in Nijega en daarna verlaat het gezin Friesland en verhuist naar Smilde.
"Girbe Oedses & Magdalena Jans Egtelieden van Lippenhuisen tans woonagtigte Nijega"
"Den 11 maart 1789 attestatie verleent naar de Smilde
......................."

Oeds is blijkbaar eerder vertrokken want in 1784 trouwt hij in Beilen; hij woont dan in Hijkersmilde:
"1784 nog op die dag na drie vorige p[ro]clamatien alhier getrouwd
Oeds Girbe J[onge] M[an] en Hillechien Aalders J[onge] D[ochter]
beide van de Hijkersmilde"
Zowel via Oeds als via zijn zus Hiltje loopt een bloedlijn naar de familie Hobers.

Relatie met de familie Hobers
Oedses achterkleindochter Trijntje Koens *1862 trouwt met Albert Hobers. Daarmee zijn alle nakomelingen van van Trijntje Koens en Albert Hobers, waaronder Wim Hobers (samensteller van deze stamboom) een nazaat van Oeds.
