Oost-Friesland (Duits: Ostfriesland, Nedersaksisch: O(o)stfreesland) is een streek in het noordwesten van de Duitse deelstaat Nedersaksen. De streek ligt tussen de rivieren de Eems en de Jade, grenzend aan de Waddenzee in het noorden en aan de Nederlandse provincie Groningen in het westen. Er behoort een reeks van zeven Oost-Friese Eilanden toe. Belangrijke plaatsen zijn Emden, Leer en Wilhelmshaven. De oostelijkste strook van dit gebied, bestaande uit de Landkreis Friesland met het eiland Wangerooge en de stad Wilhelmshaven, behoort geografisch wel, maar (cultuur)historisch niet tot Oost-Friesland.
