Er is een gezinskaart in Amsterdam. Als adres staat er Leeuwerikstraat 57. Hij is niet gehuwd. Er staat ook op dat hij naar Zeist vertrekt, Amersfoortseweg 261. De datum is onleesbaar. Ik geloof dat het 1930 is.

Volgens zijn persoonskaart is hij niet getrouwd. Als adressen zie je: Amersfoortseweg 56 te Zeist (1933), Dorpsstraat 262 te Nieuwveen (1941) en vanaf 1945 weer Amersfoortseweg 56 te Zeist. Beroep: zonder.

Deze Albert is de broer van mijn opa die in een inrichting zat vanaf 29-4-1931. Hij kwam toen uit Amsterdam en woonde vanaf toen in de Johannes Stichting, later Huis ter Heide en nog later Sterrenberg genoemd. In mijn bezit is een memoriam van de Sterrenberg. Albert kon zich na de dood van zijn ouders niet goed redden in de maatschappij en heeft hier vooral in de tuin gewerkt. Een hoogtepunt voor hem was de Koninklijke Onderscheiding die hij in september 1981 van de burgemeester kreeg, als waardering en beloning voor 50 jaar zeer trouwe dienst. Het was de zilveren eremedaille verbonden aan de Orde van Oranje Nassau. Hij klaagde nooit, was nooit iemand tot last en wilde het liefst voor zichzelf zorgen.

Hij is begraven op de Algemene Begraafplaats aan de Woudenbergseweg te Zeist.
