    Ze heeft het Drostenhuis geërfd van haar vader in 1892. Het kapitale huis schonk ze onder de gelofte van armoede aan de congregatie. Uiteindelijk heeft ze haar wens, verzorging van zieken, in dit pand kunnen vervullen. Het was het begin (1897) van het eerste katholieke ziekenhuis in Zwolle, De Weezenlanden.

    In 1902 verhuisden de nonnen naar twee herenhuizen aan het Groot Wezenland. In 1963 veranderde de naam van het RK ziekenhuis in De Weezenlanden.
