    Uit de huwelijksaantekening van zijn dochter Catharina Sebastiani Geiger in het kerkboek van de Sint Agathakerk in Aschaffenburg blijkt, dat haar vader tuinman was. Citaat uit " Wochenblatt des Landwirtschaftlichen Vereins in Bayern, Volume 7" : " Der zweite Preis, in einer silbernen Vereinsdenkmünze, wurde ertheilt dem Gärtner Sebastian Geiger von Aschaffenburg, dem die sämtlichen die Stadt umgebenden Baumschulen, ihre Entstehung verdanken."

    "Sebastian Geiger, der die Einnahmen der von dem am Stadttor eingeführten Brennholz abzugebenden Wachtscheide pro 1797 um 150 fl., 37 Kr. gepachtet hat, bittet um 50 fl. Nachlaß des Pachtschillings; wird abgewiesen. 11 Prod."
