Spellingvariant: Joseph Nikolaus Ebhardt.
In Neckarsulm, there is a hill with a shape that resembles a ’scouring’ brush, so aptly it is named ‘The’ Scheuerberg. Josef Nikolaus Ebert made stone steps to ascend the Grapevine Terraces to the summit of the hill where Neckarsulmers had placed a large gilded cross [or crucifix] for their pilgrimage on Karfreitag – Good Friday; it is also a special symbol for Neckarsulm. Josef Ebert carved his initials, and the year, on one of the stone steps which he had made.
