    Bartha van REEUWIJK, geboren op 21 februari 1797, Bleiswijk, gedoopt op 21 februari 1797, overleden op 14 maart 1875 te Amsterdam.

    Haar vader overleed toen zij 10 jaar was, haar moeder toen zij 12 was. Vervolgens is zij als pleegkind bij haar oom en tante gaan wonen: Jannetje van Reeuwijk en Andries Kloot(s) (smid te Amsterdam, Kattenburgergracht 22)). Deze hadden als knecht in het bedrijf: Johann Heinrich Arnold Howeler, haar latere echtgenoot. Bartha was een levenslustige vrouw, hulpvaardig voor zieken en armen. Zij was fors van gestalte: haar woning een "zoete inval" Een zeldzaam hartelijke grootmoeder voor haar kleinkinderen. Er zou van haar nog een kunstwaardig portret (kniestuk) bestaan, geschilderd door de bekende portretschilder Eggers te Amsterdam.
