There are a few more things I have thought of, like did you know my Dad was one of triplets, one of the babies died at birth, the other two where identical, Jack and William. At 11 months of age one of them died and the other one also got very sick, the doctors could not figure out what was wrong with him, but he got weaker and weaker until the nurse who looked after the twins decided to put a mirror in his cot, and that saved his life. Also she was the one who said it was William who had died as their mother could never tell them apart and that is why Dads name was Jack. I met his nurse when I was in Holland and she remembered Dad but could not believe that I was his daughter, “not little Jackie” she said. She remembered and told me about the other twin dying after I prompted her a bit, and I have a photo of her and the twins which I can put in the photo section if you like (I will have to find it first though). Unfortunately I cannot remember her name but she was 94 at the time I met her, and living with her sister who was 96. Not long after I met them, the sister had a fall, breaking her hip. Both ended up in a nursing home after that, but within a year they had both died.
