Voor Schout en schepenen van Melissant compareerden op 27 febr. 1772 ten eenre zijde Kommertje Kooman, gehuwd met Teeuwis Jaquensz Braber, Beye Kooman en Leendert Kooman, en ter andere zijde Maria van der Velde, weduwe van Leendert Kooman. Het betrof de door Maria gepachte zeven zestiende parten in een bouwhuis, ovenkeet etc.

(Zij is later getrouwd te Dirksland op 10 februari 1779 met Jan van der Vliet, gedoopt te Nieuwe Tonge (ZH) op 11 februari 1748. (Hij is eerder in ondertrouw gegaan te Nieuwe Tonge (ZH) op 3 februari 1775 en getrouwd aldaar op 26 februari 1775 met Elisabeth Cornelisse Kom, geboren te Middelharnis, gedoopt aldaar op 5 september 1751, overleden te Oude Tonge (ZH) op 15 oktober 1777.))
